Clinical Trials Education Series (CTES)

Cancer clinical trials is a way for researchers to improve cancer care. Yet, many people do not know about cancer clinical trials or how they work. The Arkansas Cancer Community Network at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (Cancer Institute) developed a Clinical Trials Education Series (CTES) to help community groups understand the cancer clinical trial process. Using the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Trials Education Series training tools, which includes PowerPoint presentations, basic and in-depth workbooks, and brochures and booklets, we will tailor a training or community presentation especially for your group at no cost. Our goal is to assist communities in understanding how cancer clinical trials are conducted. For more information, please contact Regina Gibson at 501-296-1501, extension 1397 or Misty Smith at 501-296-1501, extension 1618.
